This tea cup was designed by Kamide Keigo, who is the 5th generation in the porcelain company Choemon, located on the Japanese west coast near Kanasawa, where he is today the chief designer and runs the company. Choemon is known for hand-painted porcelain and over 150 years they have developed their own expression with a blue and a red glaze in particular.
Kamide Keigo is trained as a painter at the Tokyo Art Academy and he has moved the company to new heights, with new unique and imaginative design.
This cup is inspired by a Buddhist symbol that consists of a triangle, a square and a circle and the symbol is called "Everything".
