Hans Vangsø graduated from the Århus Art Academy in 1976. He has had a large number of group and solo exhibitions in and abroad in his more than 40-year-long career, including a few exhibitions in Japan which attracted a lot of attention.

Hans Vangsø is internationally recognized for his ceramic works and is something very special in Danish ceramics, where he always works with great richness in substance and form. Hans Vangsø manages to give his works an inescapable strength, robust elegance and a personal expression.
