Pu Erh Tasting
Where: Sing Tehus, Værnedamsvej 4, 1619 Copenhagen
When: March 13, 2025 / 18:10–19:45
When we think of Yunnan, we think of the birthplace of tea—a region steeped in history, where centuries-old tea trees thrive in harmony with nature. From the renowned Shu and Sheng Pu Erh to a delicate white tea, Yunnan’s teas offer a glimpse into the craftsmanship of its mountain-dwelling producers. These teas are hand-picked from wild and ancient tea trees growing on steep, untamed slopes, cultivated by small, independent farmers who work in sync with the natural environment.
In this exclusive tasting experience, you’ll explore the vibrant flavors of Yunnan’s tea landscape. Guided by Leslie, our tea buyer who has lived in China and worked closely with these producers, you’ll journey through the history, tradition, and artistry of this region. Discover the unique stories behind each tea, from the hands that picked it to the land that nurtured it.
Join us at Sing Tehus for an unforgettable evening of discovery. Immerse yourself in Yunnan’s tea traditions, taste its treasures, and connect with the spirit of its mountainous origins. 🌿
