Ceramic Mr. Lee Myong-gun is trained at 'Habinyo Ceramic Studio'. Since 1990, Mr. Lee continues to produce teapots, using the traditional wood-burning method. Mr. Lee is also part of a research group that reproduces some of the first known celadon pottery in Korean history.

Historical note:
In Korea, celadon (blue porcelain) was produced from the Goryeo dynasty ( 11th-12th century AD) and loved by people all over East Asia for its beautiful celadon green color. As a tea artist who loves to drink tea, Mr. Lee enthusiastically concentrated on the reproduction of this cultural heritage in the traditional way for the past 10 years.

Traditionally in Korea, images of oriental melon were often used as a typical design pattern as it was assumed to be the origin of life.
Celadon Clay / Spinning wheel molding / Celadon glazed without cracks
/ 17 hours deoxidation firing at 1250℃ (traditional wood kiln)

The teapot is ideal for brewing green, yellow and oolong tea as well as Pu Erh tea, where numerous extracts are made from the same leaves. The teapot is a collector's item, as it is very difficult to produce and is therefore only made in limited numbers. The teapot holds 135 ml.
