This white tea is rich and multifaceted in a way that only tea harvested from the high mountain forest can be.
The tea leaves come from hundreds of years old trees (“Ancient Trees” or gǔshù 古树 in Chinese esian) . The shoots grow slowly and the leaves are rich in minerals and nutrients. The cultivation of leaves from these ancient tea trees is at once simple and complex. Although the process involves only a few steps, it requires great care and experience.

Yuenguangbai loose leaf white tea is produced from old trees of Jinggu Dabai cultivar. The leaves are dried by a natural and very fine method that leaves them half black, half white, which is the unique characteristic of Yueguangbai (“white moonlight”). The brewed tea has a fine yellow color that varies in strength depending on the number of brews, and the tea has a flavor of forest flowers and autumn fruits.
