This tea cup was designed by Kamide Keigo, who is the 5th generation of the porcelain company Choemon, located on the west coast of Japan near Kanasawa, where he is today the chief designer and runs the company.
Choemon is known for hand-painted porcelain and the have over 150 years developed their own expression with a blue and a red glaze in particular.
Kamide Keigo is trained as a painter at the Tokyo Art Academy and he has moved the company to new heights, with new unique and imaginative designs.
This cup is inspired by a Buddhist symbol consisting of a triangle, a square and a circle and the symbol is called "Everything".
