Earl Grey Bergamot Garden is a graceful blend that reimagines the classic Earl Grey with a delicate twist. Bold black tea meets the vibrant citrus of bergamot, gently layered with floral notes that evoke the serenity of a blooming garden at dawn

Classic characteristic tea, rich and sweet. Slightly more fruity than our classic Earl Grey, this tea makes an excellent cold brew as well, with notes of elderflower and rhubarb brought out in the cold tea. 

Earl Gray is named after Earl Charles Grey, who was Prime Minister under King William IV in the early 19th century. Legend has it that the earl was given the recipe by a Chinese mandarin who was his friend and whose life he had saved.

Preparation

Western style brewing:

Vessel: A teapot from 400ml - 1500ml
Quantity: 1g for every 150ml of water
Temperature 90-100°C
Time: 3-5 mins

Cold brew:

Vessel: Hario cold brew bottle (750ml) or a glass jug
Quantity: 1g for every 100ml of water
Instructions: Add tea to your chosen vessel then fill up with cold water. Put it in the fridge and brew for a minimum of 4 hours. We recommend to drink the infusion within 36 hours.
