This sencha is a seasonal green tea from Hoshino Seichaen, which is usually available from December to January.
The Fuyu no Hana, meaning winter flower, has been painstakingly roasted by hand on a drying platform called a "hoiro". This traditional method of roasting uses wood charcoal and gives a slight nutty flavour and enhances the teas sweetness.
The tea has an intense fresh flavour with a hint of fruit and sweetness.
Fresh and green in color, soft. The bag contains 100 grams.
Ingredienser: grøn te
The Fuyu no Hana is best brewed in a small clay teapot, preferably in high quality water with little limescale.
