The Nejiriume series features a bold arrangement of plum blossom crests, utilizing traditional techniques. The rounded, friendly form matches the pattern, making it a versatile item suitable for Japanese household use. The "earthenware teapot" is a convenient size, and the carefully dyed gosu color is suitable for everyday tea time as well as for entertaining guests.

To create the striking blue surface, the artisan uses a thick, specialized brush called a "mi" to carefully paint a large area by moving droplets of gosu pigment. Adjusting the amount of paint by squeezing and loosening it with the fingertips is a highly skilled technique. The path the brush takes is called " mi " in pottery terminology. There will be individual differences in shade and pitch.
