Hans Vangsø was educated at Århus Art Academy in 1976. He has had a a large number of group and solo exhibitions at home and abroad in his more than 40-year career, including a few exhibitions in Japan which attracted a lot of attention.

Hans Vangsø is internationally recognized for his ceramic works and is something especially in Danish ceramics, where he always works with great richness in materiality and form. Hans Vangsø manages to give his works an inescapable strength, robust elegance and a personal expression.
