Hans Vangsø was educated at the Århus Art Academy in 1976. He has had a large number of group and solo exhibitions at home and abroad in his career spanning over 40 years, including a couple of exhibitions in Japan which attracted a lot of attention.
Hans Vangsø is internationally recognized for his ceramic works and is something very special in Danish ceramics, where he always works with great richness in substance and form. Hans Vangsø manages to give his works an inescapable strength, robust elegance and a personal expression
