Hans Vangsø was educated at Århus Art Academy in 1976. He has had a large number of group and solo exhibitions in and abroad in his more than 40-year-long career, including a couple of exhibitions in Japan which created a lot of attention.

Hans Vangsø is internationally recognized for his ceramic works and is something very special in Danish ceramics, where he always works with great richness in substance and form. Hans Vangsø manages to give his works an unavoidable strength, robust elegance and a personal expression.
