Kukicha with yuzu, Kagoshima / Japan.

Kukicha, or twig tea, is from Japan and is a mixture of stems and leaves from the tea bush.
In this version of kukicha, the citrus fruit yuzu contributes, with citrus notes that also give deep flavour notes of orange/grapefruit and mint.

Kagoshima is located on the southernmost tip of the island of Kyushu in southern Japan, the soil is mineral and the active volcano Sakurajima, has a strong influence on the surrounding nature.

Kukicha with yuzu can be brewed in a medium-sized pot.

Use 3-4 grams of tea (two small teaspoons). to 400 ml. water.
Water temperature: 80-85 degrees.
1st brew: 1.5 minutes.
2nd brew: 30 seconds.
