Matcha Todou Mukashi from Horii Shichimeien is a blend of hand-picked tea leaves, mainly of the Kyoto variety "Samidori". This matcha has a strong flavor and almost no bitterness. Notes of sweet mallowflower. 

Founded in 1879, Horii Shichimeien continues to cultivate the renowned 600-year-old Okunoyama Tea Garden, the sole remaining tea garden of Kyoto’s historic “seven beautiful gardens”.
