Milky Oolong is a semi-oxidized tea known for its creamy aroma and naturally soft flavor. Its golden infusion reveals subtle creamy notes and warm florals, offering a soothing and harmonious tea experience.
Milky Oolong is one of our most popular teas, since its also very suitable for cold brew.

The leaves undergo a brief oxidation, which is carefully interrupted through drying to preserve the freshness and bright character of green tea. During processing, the leaves are gently sun-wilted, enhancing their natural sweetness and creating the tea’s smooth, comforting profile.

Oolong teas like this are always made from whole leaves and originate primarily from China and Taiwan—regions renowned for their mastery of this unique style.

Preparation

Milky oolong is brewed in a small preheated teapot. Be careful not to use too much tea.

The water must not boil for a long time, as you boil the oxygen out of the water.

Use 1 tsp. tea per cup.

Pour the leaves with 80-85 degree warm water.

Infusion time: 3 – 4 minutes.

The leaves can be used 2 – 3 times.

Tips

If you only brew one cup / glass at a time, you can use a cup or "fill-it-yourself" teabags, where the leaves can float freely and thereby give off the fine aroma. When using copy or "fill-yourself" teabags can also be brewed on the leaves again.

By small pot is meant possibly Japanese tokoname teapot with internal strainer. The advantage of the small jug is that you brew 1-2 cups at a time, after which you add more tempered water when you are ready for the next cup. In this way, you utilize the potential of the leaves by brewing several times, and you get the experience of a fresh cup of tea.

Store dry and cool.
