Step into the rich and aromatic world of oolong tea, a category celebrated for its complexity and depth. Originally crafted in China’s Fujian province during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912), oolong—known as “wulong” or “black dragon” tea—offers a sensory experience unlike any other.
Oolong teas are partially oxidized, bridging the spectrum between green and black teas. Their intricate aromas and layered flavors make them endlessly intriguing. Even more remarkable, oolong leaves can be brewed multiple times—up to 5–9 infusions depending on the method—revealing new nuances with each steep.
In this tasting session, you’ll savor three distinctive oolongs.
Alongside the teas, we’ll provide light snacks and explore the fascinating history and meticulous production of oolong.
