Cold brewing has become popular as high quality tea becomes more and more available.
Brewing directly in cold water is a slower process, but patience pays off, as the result is a finer tasting experience , as it is a more gentle process that preserves the delicate aromas and active substances.
As a general rule, you use a smooth tablespoon for a HARIO bottle and let it soak for min. 1 hour, preferably 8 hours. You can subsequently make several brews on the same leaves. The tea lasts a few days in the fridge.
