Risa's Onigiri Workshop
We are so happy to welcome our dear friend Risa from Japan to Sing Tehus for the month of August! In addition to being a close friend, Risa has a long history of working with tea—not only in Japan, but also in the UK and Australia.
During her stay, Risa will share her knowledge and passion for Japanese tea and food culture.
We’re excited to announce a new workshop, where Risa will introduce two of the most deeply rooted aspects of Japanese everyday life: onigiri and tea. This workshop will demonstrate how effortlessly you can bring these traditions into your daily life—without the need for special equipment or years of experience. Everyone can prepare and enjoy tea. Everyone can cook and eat rice!
The workshop aims to equip you with the tools and inspiration to enjoy a simple Japanese lifestyle at home. To help you get started, part of the ticket fee includes a goodie bag with everything you need to make onigiri and tea at home: high-quality Japanese rice, nori seaweed, and a bag of Hojicha tea that pairs beautifully with your rice balls.
We can’t wait to share this unique experience with you!
Events are conducted in Danish but can be held in English for English-speaking guests.
Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to a friend or family member if you’re unable to attend. After booking you will receive your tickets digitally. Be sure to bring it with you to check-in at the event.
We reserve the right to cancel the event up to 5 days prior if minimum participation is not met. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to registered participants.
