Rooibos is only grown in a small area in the Cederberg region of the Western Cape province in South Africa. Rooibos is an herbal tea derived from the shrub Aspalathus linoaris. Rooibos is a popular herbal tea as its delicate and rich flavour appeals to many.

It has a sweet flavour.

Beautiful red liquid with a slightly smoky and sweet aroma.

Ingredients: Rooibos (aspalathus linoaris).

Preparation

Brewing instructions:

Vessel: A teapot from 400ml - 1500ml
Quantity: 1g for every 150ml of water
Temperature 90°C
Time: 3-5 mins

Cold brew:

Vessel: Hario cold brew bottle (750ml) or a glass jug
Quantity: 1g for every 100ml of water
Instructions: Fill bottle with hot water then cool down to achieve a full flavour. Ready when cold.
