Gokujo Shincha (極上新茶) is generally regarded as Marukyu Koyamaen's highest grade of seasonal shincha and it is only available for a brief period each year after the first spring harvest.
At Sing Tehus, this tea holds a special place in our history. We have enjoyed a close partnership with Marukyu Koyamaen since our founding in 2006, when they became our very first Japanese tea producer. For nearly two decades, we have visited the family in Kyoto and witnessed firsthand the exceptional craftsmanship and dedication behind their teas. We are proud to share this remarkable seasonal tea with our guests each spring.
