The beauty of white tea

White tea is often associated with lightness and delicacy, yet behind its simple processing lies a

surprising diversity of expression.

In this tasting, we explore different expressions of white tea – from tender buds and light, floral aromas

to mature leaves with deeper sweetness, fruit, and complexity.

We will taste Ya Bao, very yong spring buds, Bai Hao Yin Zhen, also known as ”silver needle, Aged Shou Mei, and Dian Cha, the percurser to what we day know as matcha.  Exploring along the way how plant

material, growing conditions, harvest, and processing reveal themselves in the cup.

The tasting is a journey through the many nuances of white tea: freshness and flowers, herbs and fruit, gentle sweetness, and deeper, more mature notes.

Along the way, we will talk about the teas’ origins, production, and history – but above all, we will take the time to brew, taste, and experience each tea on its own.

A tasting for both the curious newcomer and the experienced tea drinker.
